Panels on the roof

A model reads a dated aerial photo of each roof: detected, none seen or unclear, with the date of the photo. Roofs not yet read are marked unchecked.

    Pick the buildings

    Find the SVJ

    In ARES, the Czech register of economic entities, search by address for the SVJ (the owners’ association), its IČO and registered office. The owners’ meeting decides on an installation.

How many owners must agree to solar?

It depends on the SVJ’s articles and on how the law treats the installation. Check the articles or ask a lawyer before you call a meeting.

Can the flats share power from a shared plant?

Yes. Sharing between the flats in a building is registered with the Electricity Data Centre (EDC).

Is there a subsidy for solar on an apartment building?

The Nová zelená úsporám programme also supports apartment buildings. Its current calls and conditions are on its website.
