Data sources and attributions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
baseray is built from public registers and open data. This page gives the credits that the sources’ licences ask for, by country. Where a source asks for its credit in its own language, we give it word for word.
We combine, convert and recalculate these data (they are adapted). The publishers do not endorse baseray and are not responsible for our use of their data. Our About page describes where each kind of fact comes from.
Licences named below: CC BY 4.0, ODbL 1.0 and the Romanian open government licence OGL-ROU-1.0.

The flood zones are a screening, not an assessment of a property. They show where the sea may flood in Kystdirektoratet’s scenario for 2020, at the water levels of its high-water statistics of 2017. The publisher states that the data cannot be used for detailed analyses of very local areas or for detailed economic analyses, that it is the user’s responsibility to judge whether the data are sufficient for the intended use, and that Kystdirektoratet disclaims all liability for wrong or inappropriate use of the data and its consequences. A building inside a zone may stay dry, and one outside it may flood.
